Our guide was very friendly, took us to a few locations to try and get the best out of our experience. He also helped us with the required camera settings to take some great photos

Exceptional day Magnificent views... And those geysers... Ready to photograph them and they still made me jump! Back home with new photos of this ride, I'm delighted! What made this day even better was the friendliness of the driver. They had promised us an encounter with the Icelandic horses and he gave it to us. I thought I had to pay the entrance to the crater but it had been done by the driver, it was very pleasant to travel with him. The change of schedule from 10 a.m. to 8:30/9 a.m. scared me a little but in the end, it went well...

Fantastic Northern Lights experience We booked an additional Northern Lights tour through our hotel the Centrum as our first tour whilst very good hadt achieved the end result of seeing the Lights. Our guide Maggie was fantastic being very knowledgeable and clearly having a desire to make the experience memorable to us all. My wife has terminal cancer this was one of her bucket list things to do but she is limited in what she can and cannot do Maggie was superb in making her feel comfortable and part of the overall experience. He offered a photo service we didn't feel as if we had to have the photos even though we did. We highly recommend the tour through Go to joy Iceland. Thank you for making this a very special night.

Perfect night out It was a great night. we had been cancelled twice before because of the weather, so we’re obviously delighted to be going. We had to wait for a while but they did come out to see us. The guide was great, knew exactly where to go and what to look out for. On the drive out, he told us how to get the best pictures using our phones, which was good otherwise I would have photos of a lot of nothing. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

First of all I tried to seek the northern lights on my own at first and although I saw them, it was a mediocre experience. So I booked a tour and it was SO worth it. The guide (MM) was very knowledgeable, a true expert and we had an amazing experience. We saw a great display DESPITE the Kp forecast and and had the luck to not have any cancellations. Do not freak out when tours are canceled, as the guides are experts and do it for the client’s sake. There are many factors going to an aurora display. Overall I felt it was more than worth it and feel grateful for having a guide like this!

An excellent night Can't control the weather or the phenomenon but we lucked out and had an excellent night for viewing. Set expectations with kids that you may not see anything! The tour guide did a very good job of explaining and setting expectations as well as giving tips for setting up phones for taking pictures of the Aurora. I would suggest looking up how to take the pictures before you go and taking a tripod if you have one. Apple phones worked better than android as there was an app. The guide also took group and individual pictures for us (for a fee). Dress warmly as you don't know how long you'll be out. A memorable experience!

Northern lights. It ha been a super experience. We were in the countryside of Iceland catching northern lights under a uncountable stars sky. Maggi is a very northern stars hunter but also a good star’s teacher. Very emotional.

We had a magical evening hunting the Northern Lights with Makrem. He was wise, friendly and passionate about making sure we had a wonderful experience and spectacular light show. While other big name tour companies took their groups back to their hotels after not much sky action, Makrem took us out further and a little later in the evening. We got to see beautiful pink and green lights dance across the sky. We highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Iceland!

We had a wonderful tour of the golden circle friday 10.01.2020.Makrem did an excellent job getting us safely from A to B, considering the rough weather conditions. He was very service minded and charged our phones?He was a good story teller and explained a lot about the icelandic way of living combined with a recording in english. A night we'll never forget We had to go for the hunt one hour early due to the clouds coming over. Our tour guide Maggi (like the soup) called to inform us that he would be picking us up in 20 minutes. (7:30pm Instead of 8:30pm) I'm so glad that he did as we experienced an incredible show that lasted for about 1 hour until the clouds came over. Maggi was very informative, professional and helped us with our camera settings. I highly recommend Go to joy Iceland! It was a night we'll never forget.

Experienced tour guide made all the difference!! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED, AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Our tour guide "Triple-M" is an experienced lights hunter and it showed-- after almost a week of cancelling tours nightly due to unfavorable weather conditions, the day we arrived in Iceland (Tue Nov 23) we booked this tour and they contacted us a while later to let us know the tour was on that same night! After picking us up, Triple-M told us about all about his experience, he went brand-by-brand walking us thru how to set up our phones for a best shot at the aurora, and explained the importance of minding wind direction and the direction the clouds are moving in... so that even with the inevitable moonlight, he would pick a spot where he'd take us, and we arrived JUST IN TIME... As we were close to his chosen spot, from inside the tour bus we could already see the lights forming in the horizon! We finally got there and jumped out of the bus to see the bright green lights fully formed, so he instantly set up his professional camera and started shooting! We all took pics with our phones, but the picture that is truly worth it is the one Triple-M took of us with the northern lights in the background... 20 minutes later the lights were gone, but we stayed another 1-2 hours just in case they popped up again, which they did not... and in those two hours we saw another 2-3 tour buses show up to NOT see the lights... we were the only ones that got there in time!!! ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE... and it was easily 75% thanks to our tour guide... THANK YOU TRIPLE-M!!

Amazing and informative experience An amazing experience. Maggi, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Northern Lights. He genuinely wanted us all to get an opportunity to see the lights and if it wasn’t for his expertise we could have missed them. He helped us all with our cameras and phone settings so that we could get the best possible photos. If you wish to do a tour like this, you must be prepared to be patient and wait as this is a natural phenomenon. It can take 5 hours easily and nothing is more frustrating than 1 person forcing a whole group back early as this can be a once in a lifetime opportunity. We can fully recommend our tour guide and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Fabulous tour A small bus tour was absolutely a great decision. Our guide was great. He actually was tracking the atmospheric conditions on his phone and knew when the lights were starting which allowed us to pull of the road immediately and watch the lights. We saw the big bus tours whiz by and they could not do do what our tour did. Then we went to second location, also not suited to a large bus and had a second great show. I realize that whether one sees the lights or not is something not in the control of the tours, as they are truly a force of nature but our tour made the most of a wonderful showing of the Northern Lights. I would rebook this tour without any hesitation.

I did NOT see the Northern Lights. In fact, my tour was cancelled the first day, rebooked for the second day, then cancelled again. So why the five stars? The company was very responsive and alerted me in plenty of time. Booking ANY tour that depends on the weather is very risky, especially in Iceland. I will definitely use them on my next trip. Let’s hope the weather cooperates.

Totally fab Very good communication as due to weather trip was cancelled 2 times, but we were kept informed. Luckily on our last night we went out and our experience was fab. Saw the lights. Great knowledge from guide and assistance to alter phones for better picture. Overall well worth the wait. Definitely recommend this in mini bus and with our guide. Just what you need! Great tour and a very good guide - not only did he cover points of interest in full, but shared highlights of Icelandic history as well. Very in-depth, interesting and well told stories all along the way! We felt welcomed, taken good care of, all instructions about time on the site and when to be back in the was clear, bus was comfy and comfortable temperature inside, a guide was responding immediately to all requests. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to explore and take good pictures. Highly recommended!

Amazing Northern lights tour with Makrem!

The small group makes it more personal and a better experience than the bigger companies. I’d recommend a smaller tour group, the big ones are generic and don’t hang around at the end of the evening, whereas with our tour we were out MUCH later than the bigger tours hunting and it was WORTH it!
Makrem worked HARD to give us the best opportunity to see the lights, stopping in all kinds of places! Helped us with our cameras, took photos of us and just a lovely guy, so much so that Makrem makes the tour! Thank you �

Northern Lights Experience Magnus was a super guide. He was friendly, informative and did his best to find us a view of the lights. It was very windy and sadly cloudy. Top tip wrap up well and thankfully it was warm on the bus. Magnus explained how to use your phone to take a good photo. Sadly the lights weren't as visible as we had hoped. Managed one good photo. Stunning light display Great trip and we saw the lights. Driver/guide was brilliant, took us to Garour Lighthouse. Pick up was about 9pm and we got back to Hotel about 1/1.30 am. Great time and feel very lucky.

An amazing experience! This was a bucket list item for us so we were so pleased to see the Northern Lights! Our guide Maggi did a great job of setting our expectations and teaching us how the aurora borealis is forecasted. He helped us set up our phones so that we could get nice pictures of the lights and he took our photos with them as well on his professional camera and gave them to us for a small fee. He also explained that different people can see different levels of color in the northern lights. In the pictures here, I could see all of these lights as shapes but they all looked pale green to me. My husband was able to see some red in them. It was so fun to look at the pictures after and recognize the shapes we had been seeing but in full color. Maggi turned me into a pro as I was able to spot them on my own on our last night as we were driving into Reykjavik from a different tour. Maggi was also kind enough to personally drop off my husband's beanie to us that he had left behind on the van. We would highly recommend going with this company to see the aurora borealis! This was our favorite part of our trip!

Amazing day! Great day out and really enjoiyable. We wanted a shorter duration tour as we had a dinner reservation for the evening and this tour suited us at just over 6hours. The time flew by however and we saw all of the sights including the geysers too and spent the right time at each location to get the pictures and selfies we wanted. Our tour guide and driver was great and he kept us safe despite the awful driving conditions but i guess Icelanders are used to it...not like us Brits! we really enojed our day and the smaller group minibus was defo better for us so we wasnt waiting to long for others. The volcano crate walk well worth ot and great end to the trip but you do have to pay 400ISK each to get in (only about £2.50 each so not going to break the bank). Altogether

Amazing Trip Magnus was a superb tour guide, providing lots of information about the lights and how to get the best pictures on our way out of Reykjavik. We then found the lights at two different locations which was majestic to see and to get pictures before heading back! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic! I’ve been desperate to see the northern lights for years! Despite the hopeful KP index forecast, it was very cloudy during our stay in Reykjavik, therefore we didn’t expect to see the lights, but had to give it a go. Our guide Magnus went to real effort to find them for us! He was very knowledgeable and gave us information about camera settings/ was on hand if we needed help. Amazing guide! We had the most amazing guide (Klaus)! Our guide helped us get great pictures and he posted his amazing pictures to the Facebook site where we could share/download them. We absolutely loved this tour was a small group versus the big bus tour. After hours of not seeing any lights, our guide decided to stay out longer for a better chance to see them. All the big buses left and a few hours later they appeared and put on a spectacular show! Because of the small group, we were able to stay out longer and enjoy the lights! Klaus was the best!

Wow moments! Our tour with Makrem was amazing last night. He knows where to go for the best views. So many wow moments!

Stay in February 2022. Pick up at the agreed time and clear meeting place. The guide gave us information about the northern lights and how to adjust the cameras. We left for an hour's drive in the blizzard then the guide stopped us, the auroras appeared very light (whiteout) for about an hour. The photos bring out the green color.

Perfect day! Excellent guide, excellent tour. We had Maksum (If I recall correctly??) as our guide and driver, and he was excellent.

We landed at 7am and were able to find the shuttle pickup by 10am (after dropping luggage at our hotel). It ended up being a very small group, but perfect for a first day. Our guide was great, playing recorded narratives as we passed sights, and adding to them or further indicating what they were referring to. He answered questions, and was knowledgeable and low-key. Of course it would have been nice to spend some more time at some sights, but we found it a fair trade off for seeing so much (including the crater lake and a stop to see ponies!) in one day.

The drop-offs and meet-ups at each site were very well orchestrated to efficiently explore. I only regret falling asleep on the bus so I missed some of the commentary during the last leg! Great way to spend a first day, to be guided and informed along some essential sights!

Amazing northern lights Makram is the perfect guide if you want to see the northern lights. He doesn't give up and drives around to find the right spots,explains what the phenomenon is and even tells you what app to download to take the best photos.

Great service Lovely people, really great service, answered all my questions quickly and a well organised tour overall. Icelandic weather truly is the most unpredictable, but if it’s cancelled due to storm etc they will rebook you so you will have an opportunity to see the lights! I recommend this tour for sure 🙂

Our guide was really amazing! He was very knowledgeable and gave lots of tips. It was quite a cloudy night and he spent a lot of time driving around to find the best spot to see the lights. Unfortunately it was an unsuccessful trip, but the guide tried his very best!! The bus was comfy and warm. It was good to be in the mini bus because lots more opportunities to pull over, rather than being in a coach, which can only park in designated areas. Of course you go on the tour knowing that you are not guaranteed to see the lights. I would recommend booking a tour where you can rebook for free because it was a lot of money to lose out on!

Excellent service Good hotel helpful all the hotel staff, everyone is nice here and welcomes the guests. I also thank the room cleaners, by housekeeping supervisor TILAK he is the one every time after clean came our room and ask cleaning and amanities all are ok or not we are very happy with him we will recomanded our friends thanks.

Awesome. Due to weather two trips had to be cancelled. But they rated in close contact with us. Fantastic job taking pictures. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor.

Amazing!! So worth it This tour was everything we expected and more. There was plenty of time at each stop to be able to take in the sights. Our tour guide Magnus was excellent. He made everything so easy for us. He even took an extra stop so we could see the Icelandic horses as he could see us and the other passengers we were with kept looking at the horses out the window. He was also very informative during the trip and we learnt a lot about Iceland’s history. Would definitely recommend this tour as other Golden Circle tours usually only offer the National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir but this one also included Faxi waterfall and Kerid crater. Magnus also made the tour more fun and personalised. His driving was very professional and safe along the dangerous icy mountain roads, did not feel unsafe at any point on the journey. Also he went out of his way to bring us our gloves back as we had left them in the minibus. 10/10.

Fantastic experience Fantastic experience. Our driver/guide took us to a spot whete no other vehicle and we his the jackpot the minute we got off the bus. Northern Lights were up thete in all their glory. Our guide/driver entertained us with stories of the past and on the way back, he took us to his village where they are building a church.

The tour was great. On the way to the actual observation point. Did the driver spot the Northern Lights and immediately stop so everyone could see the lights. The driver was very nice and seemed very competent. Compared to other companies where there was a fixed time of 3.5 hours, which was always adhered to, the driver with this provider stated a time period of 3.5 to 5 hours when picking up. After we had little luck, we were able to see the beautiful northern lights on the way back. The driver also used the entire 5 hours, I think with the provider we had used the days before we wouldn't have seen the lights.

We booked an additional Northern Lights tour through our hotel the Centrum as our first tour whilst very good hadt achieved the end result of seeing the Lights. Our guide Maggie was fantastic being very knowledgeable and clearly having a desire to make the experience memorable to us all. My wife has terminal cancer this was one of her bucket list things to do but she is limited in what she can and cannot do Maggie was superb in making her feel comfortable and part of the overall experience. He offered a photo service we didn't feel as if we had to have the photos even though we did. We highly recommend the tour through Go to joy Iceland. Thank you for making this a very special night.

 I had a great experience thanks to our experienced guide Makren. He was very knowledgeable and was able to help us with our camera settings so we could capture the northern lights. The company was very good and even after short notice was able to accommodate me in picking up my luggage and transporting it to another stop. Excellent service, highly recommended!

Experienced tour guide made all the difference!! TOTALLY RECOMMENDED, AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! Our tour guide "Triple-M" is an experienced lights hunter and it showed-- after almost a week of cancelling tours nightly due to unfavorable weather conditions, the day we arrived in Iceland (Tue Nov 23) we booked this tour and they contacted us a while later to let us know the tour was on that same night! After picking us up, Triple-M told us about all about his experience, he went brand-by-brand walking us thru how to set up our phones for a best shot at the aurora, and explained the importance of minding wind direction and the direction the clouds are moving in... so that even with the inevitable moonlight, he would pick a spot where he'd take us, and we arrived JUST IN TIME... As we were close to his chosen spot, from inside the tour bus we could already see the lights forming in the horizon! We finally got there and jumped out of the bus to see the bright green lights fully formed, so he instantly set up his professional camera and started shooting! We all took pics with our phones, but the picture that is truly worth it is the one Triple-M took of us with the northern lights in the background... 20 minutes later the lights were gone, but we stayed another 1-2 hours just in case they popped up again, which they did not... and in those two hours we saw another 2-3 tour buses show up to NOT see the lights... we were the only ones that got there in time!!! ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE... and it was easily 75% thanks to our tour guide... THANK YOU TRIPLE-M!!

Fantastic experience – our guide, Maggie, was so engaged and absolutely amazing at finding the right spot even in cloudy weather, so we had a whole hour of watching the northern light dancing over the sky.

 We booked the Grand Golden Circle Tour and it was great!!! Our tour guide was extremely accommodating and friendly. They allowed you time at each stop to wonder on your own. Would definitely recommend!!?

AMAZING! Me, my mum and my sister came over from Scotland and went on the small Northen Lights Tour on the 23/12/2021 with tour guide Makrem. He was absolutely amazing! Waiting for the beautiful Aurora Borealis to show up is a waiting game but Makrem kept us entertained and was very helpful when it came to adjusting cameras and phones to get the perfect shot. Genuinely lots of fun and can't recommend Makrem enough!

Good experience We saw the northern lights and everything was okay. After seeing the lights for a short time, other passengers were eager to go home, even through the lights were still on. Which I think was a shame. I felt like the other passengers just wanted to tick a list -seen it-done that, instead of enjoying the northern lights. In a way I felt a pressure on me, even though the driver said he wanted everybody to be happy before leaving.

An amazing experience! This was a bucket list item for us so we were so pleased to see the Northern Lights! Our guide Maggi did a great job of setting our expectations and teaching us how the aurora borealis is forecasted. He helped us set up our phones so that we could get nice pictures of the lights and he took our photos with them as well on his professional camera and gave them to us for a small fee. He also explained that different people can see different levels of color in the northern lights. In the pictures here, I could see all of these lights as shapes but they all looked pale green to me. My husband was able to see some red in them. It was so fun to look at the pictures after and recognize the shapes we had been seeing but in full color. Maggi turned me into a pro as I was able to spot them on my own on our last night as we were driving into Reykjavik from a different tour. Maggi was also kind enough to personally drop off my husband's beanie to us that he had left behind on the van. We would highly recommend going with this company to see the aurora borealis! This was our favorite part of our trip!

Magical evening! The tour guide makrem was great, had lots of knowledge and found the Northern Lights for us! He was punctual and made sure everyone was on the bus and even rang the couple that were missing which is reassuring that they don’t just leave you if you’re not at your pick up point. The minibus was lovely and warm and the Northern Lights we’re amazing, definitely recommend.

Definitely not humdrum! This was a short vignette of the many outdoor attractions. In addition the guide was knowledgeable, kind and solicitous of some of our requests and/or shortcomings. The weather was cool, but accommodating; also, after quizzing the taxi driver, we felt that we had a short idea of the Icelandic life and culture.

Our guide was very attentive and wanted us to see the northern lights so he took us to several locations.

Amazing northern lights! Easy pick up at the bus stop. Magi our guide even rang someone who was missing and went out of his way to collect them before we started our trip. He was knowledgeable and after 4 and a half hours, with no lights he started to drive us back, still looking out for them. Before we knew it there they were right in front of us. We all piled off the bus quickly and got some great shots. It really was a memorable experience. It was a brilliant tour.

We booked an NL tour but unfortunately our flt was delayed and unable to do the tour. Contacted the company who tried their best to book us on another day. Due to our limited stay in Iceland and cloudy weather forecast, the company was unable to re-book a tour for us. The company offered us a full refund. Thank you Go to Joy Iceland for tour help and understanding.

Northern Lights Makrem was an amazing guide. He made sure everybody's phones are all set to take photos of the Northern Lights. The lights were not very strong that night but I'm sure we wouldn't see it with other tour guides. Thank you very much!

Unbelievable - highly recommended! Incredible trip! Maggi was super knowledgable, excited and enthusiastic which made our viewing amazing. He would quickly ask us to jump out of the bus if he spotted a show and it was breathtaking. The lights were completely gorgeous and I would have loved to stay out longer. Our group were definitely very cold and I would highly recommend ski gear if you feel the cold. He isn’t kidding when he says your personal experience with your eyes is nothing like your photographs - it’s so difficult to capture, and seeing it is magical. Thank you Maggi for your patience with our cold gang!

素晴らしい日とツアー。もっと短いツアーが欲しかったのですが、6時間は過ぎ去ったようです。私たちはそれぞれの場所で十分な時間を過ごしました、そして天気にもかかわらず私たちは私たちが見たものを本当に楽しんだ。私たちのツアーガイドは素晴らしく、道路状況がひどいにもかかわらず私たちを安全に保ちました。私が言える唯一のことは、2.50ポンドのような火山の火口に入るには、それぞれ400ISKを支払う必要があることに気付いていなかったので、火口を歩き回って底の湖まで歩いた経験はありませんでした。それだけの価値がありました！

We went in January and it was a very bad weather that day. Some other companies cancelled the tour and we have people from other agencies join us. The tour was very organized. Puntual. The driver/tour guide Makram was very kind and informative. In the middle of the tour some other people driving a rental car had problems with the car and the snow blocking the road so we had to stop and our Guide was working in the cars outside in the brutal weather, trying to keep us Dave and moving. He was very experienced and made sure we were save and protected. It was a good day. Beautiful places and great food in the stops.

Mooie tour en een fantastische gids die ervoor heeft gezorgd dat de trip heel comfortabel is verlopen. Hij gaf ons goede informatie en zette ons af op het hoogste punt van de plek die we gingen bezoeken. Vervolgens wachtte hij ons beneden weer op met de auto. Zeker een aanrader.

Truly amazing Amazing views and pictures. More than we had hoped for and we probably drove for 15-20 minutes total, leaving plenty of time for pictures and the overall experience. Experienced driver and great photographer for good price.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE We had the most amazing tour seeing the northern lights & had the best tour guide Magnus. After going on a tour the night before with a very large group it wasn’t very personal and a bit unorganised. Going on this small tour was very personal & Magnus was very helpful with spotting the lights and helping us get some great shots of the lights. He also got some photo's of all us as a group with the northern lights behind us. Couldn’t recommend this company enough & if you manage to have Magnus as your tour guide you’ll have a great night:)

Makrem was an outstanding guide. We were lucky enough to travel with him on both the Northern Lights tour and the Golden Circle tour, both were incredible experiences. Makrem really went above and beyond to provide an excellent experience with both tours. The bus was very comfortable and provided free wifi as well. He was also very persistent and knowledgable with finding/viewing the Northern lights. I cannot say enough great things about Makrem and gotojoy, would absolutely 100% recommend booking tours with them!

Shout out to Maggi our awesome guide! Our tour guide Maggi really tried hard to make sure we saw the lights and in the end we did. He went above and beyond driving for nearly 2 hours out of the city to see them in thick snow and -14 degree weather! He also came round to everyone’s phones to ensure we were able to capture them. Doesn’t matter which tour company you choose to see the northern lights it depends mostly on the weather and conditions. However if you go with these guys they will look after you and try their very best!

Amazing guide and fantastic scenery Have to say, hats off to Jonas! The weather was brutal, on part of the tour we had the most intense rainfall I had ever experienced, with my waterproof coat going from grey to black and water literally pouring down our faces! His jolly and friendly demeanour made this trip, his enthusiasm just kept the spirits up. We saw a bit of Thingvellir, Geysir (inactive) and Strokkur which shoots water up to 25m, Gullfoss (waterfall) which was huge and Kerid Crater. Photos honestly don't do it justice, it's immense and it's eerie and beautiful. My husband and I were the knly ones who ventured all the way down, no one else wanted to get out of the minivan anymore. We luckily bumped into a girl who kindly took photos of us, it was fabulous. Jonas also treated us to mini stops as we were good with timekeeping! Really great guide!

Northern Lights Experience Magnus was a super guide. He was friendly, informative and did his best to find us a view of the lights. It was very windy and sadly cloudy. Top tip wrap up well and thankfully it was warm on the bus. Magnus explained how to use your phone to take a good photo. Sadly the lights weren't as visible as we had hoped. Managed one good photo. Thanks Magnus. A good trip.

Makrem picked us up promptly from our stop and took us on a comfy mini bus. We were very fortunate to see the lights more or less as soon as we arrived. He was fantastic throughout, super informative and just really lovely. We only had our phones, but he showed us the app to use and helped everyone with their camera settings. He also had a professional camera and took pictures for 2000ISK per photo. We didn't have cash on us, but he was kind enough to meet us the next day to pick it up from us. Wonderful tour and really lovely people. Highly recommended - I'll definitely use them again!!!

Night with the stars Wrap up warmly for this magical Northern Lights tour you’ll probably be spending a lot of time outside! The minibus is very warm however so you will be able to thaw out! Our guide Maggi was fantastic! He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and made an effort with everyone on the trip. He showed us all how to set up our phones/ cameras to get the best pictures of the aurora. We were lucky enough to have a good view of the northern lights but not until about 1am so thank you so much to Maggi for persevering and not rushing us home at midnight! We had many laughs which helped the time pass quickly whilst we waited. Jupiter looked great too!!

Fabulous tour A small bus tour was absolutely a great decision. Our guide was great. He actually was tracking the atmospheric conditions on his phone and knew when the lights were starting which allowed us to pull of the road immediately and watch the lights. We saw the big bus tours whiz by and they could not do do what our tour did. Then we went to second location, also not suited to a large bus and had a second great show. I realize that whether one sees the lights or not is something not in the control of the tours, as they are truly a force of nature but our tour made the most of a wonderful showing of the Northern Lights. I would rebook this tour without any hesitation.

I haven't even travelled with GotoJoy yet but just wanted to comment on how great they've been already. I accidentally made a booking twice online, and the guys at GotoJoy noticed my mistake before I did, called me to check it was an error, and cancelled and refunded me for the excess booking within 24 hours. Great customer service, thank you. Looking forward to the trip!

Great tour guide and company— great info and communication Great tour guide and tour altogether. Running a few mins later the expected and we called and they confirmed that they were on their way— no big deal as with multiple pickups delays can happen. We went to a few locations and unfortunately didn’t see the Northern Lights but that’s one thing you can’t control. The guide did tell us how to set our phones to be able to see and take pics of the lights and this was hugely beneficial as we went out the next night on our own and did see the lights and got some great pics. We wouldn’t have gotten these pics without the tips from our driver—- so thank you for that!

Absolutely brilliant tour! We got caught in a snow storm which was quite daunting but MM seemed unfazed and suddenly the sky cleared and we got some exceptional light displays! Worth every penny and every mile travelled! The knowledge MM shared was equally excellent.

Perfect night w/great pictures Just got back from our northern lights tour. It was amazing! We got a great view and beautiful pictures of the lights very quickly even though the forecast wasn’t good. Just what you need! Great tour and a very good guide - not only did he cover points of interest in full, but shared highlights of Icelandic history as well. Very in-depth, interesting and well told stories all along the way! We felt welcomed, taken good care of, all instructions about time on the site and when to be back in the was clear, bus was comfy and comfortable temperature inside, a guide was responding immediately to all requests. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to explore and take good pictures. Highly recommended!
